The American Chronic Pain Association (ACPA) Their mission is to facilitate peer support and education for individuals and their families so that these individuals may live more fully in spite of their pain.  This is a great resource for the chronic pain patient and their families; everything from Pain Management Tools and Awareness Event Calendars, to information on medications and support groups for all types of pain conditions. 

The American Fibromyalgia Syndrome Association (AFSA) is the nation’s leading nonprofit organization dedicated to funding research that accelerates the pace of medical discoveries to improve the quality of life for patients with fibromyalgia.

Drug Interaction Information Website
This service allows you to take the preventive step of determining whether the drugs you are taking interact with each other, or interact with a certain food, and cause a bad reaction in your body.

FDA Promoting and Protecting Your Health 
This site, maintained by the FDA, has a great deal of information on everything from Medical Devices, Drugs, and Vaccines to Food, Tobacco, and Cosmetics. It lists the latest articles and alerts, like the “Drug Take Back Day” on September 29th, to a great story they did on the dangers of getting your medications from on-line pharmacies.

Military One Source 
The Wounded Warrior Resource Center is established to provide service members who have become wounded, ill, or injured, as well as their immediate families and their primary caregivers, with a single point of contact for assistance with reporting deficiencies in covered military facilities, obtaining health care services, receiving benefits information, and any other difficulties encountered while supporting wounded warriors.

National Fibromyalgia & Chronic Pain Association – (NFCPA)The National Fibromyalgia & Chronic Pain Association (NFMCPA) is a 501(c)3 not for profit organization.   We support people with chronic pain illnesses and their families and friends by contributing to caring, professional, and community relationships. Through continuing education, networking with support groups and advocates, and affiliation with professional organizations, the members of the NFMCPA have a place to be informed, get involved, and recognize achievements. Wonderful resource run by Jan Chambers, a great friend to the CRPS Community. 

National Fibromyalgia Association  
The National Chronic Pain and Fibromyalgia Association – Great resource for anyone dealing with not only Fibromyalgia but many types of chronic pain. They have a vast array of resources available ranging from basic information on Fibromyalgia, ongoing research, and support groups, to international information and resources, as well as Advocacy and many of the overlapping conditions that can occur with Fibromyalgia. As many of you know, CRPS is one of them, and it is not unusual to either have CRPS and Fibromyalgia concurrently or have CRPS eventually morph into Fibromyalgia. If you, or someone you know, suffers from this disease please stop by this website. Their LIFE Magazine is especially good! (be sure to check out our fibromyalgia section as well)

National Hyperbaric Oxygen Center
National Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Center is a state-of-the-art facility located in Palm Harbor, Florida, that utilizes six Sechrist hyperbaric chambers.  The Center’s director, Dr. Allan M. Spiegel, is a neurologist who has been practicing for over 25 years.  He has had much success in administering hyperbaric therapy, treating over 400 patients with RSD and CRPS, as well as patients with many other conditions, including stroke, traumatic brain injury and radiation necrosis.

RSDSA
Our mission is to promote public and professional awareness of CRPS and to educate those afflicted with the syndrome, their families, friends, insurance and healthcare providers on the disabling pain it causes. We encourage individuals with CRPS to offer each other emotional support within affiliate groups. Finally, we are committed to raising funds for research into the cause and cure of CRPS.
